Video tutorial ArcGIS yang bisa di download gratis untuk dipelajari kali ini adalah video tutorial GIS cara menggunakan dan memanfaatkan extension Spatial Analyst. Sebelumnya juga telah tersedia Video Tutorial ArcGIS penggunaan 3D Analyst. Penggunaan extension Spatial Analyst untuk pembuatan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) pernah juga saya posting di blog ini. Posting ini sendiri merupakan bagian pertama dari 3 bagian. Setiap bagian akan berisi sekitar 10 video dalam format flash (.swf). Anda membutuhkan Adobe Flash Player untuk memutarnya. Versi PDF file dari tutorial 3D Analyst ini biasanya terdapat pada C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Documentation\ pada PC yang sudah terinstall ArcGIS.

 

Bagian pertama dari Video Tutorial ArcGIS – Spatial Analyst ini terdiri atas 10 video, dengan rincian sebagai berikut (klik judul untuk men-download video tersebut) :

1. How to use ArcCatalog to create a folder and geodatabase for project data. 

2. How to add the Spatial Analyst data to ArcMap. 

3. How to load the Spatial Analyst extension and how to add the Spatial Analyst toolbar to ArcMap. 

4. How to create a hillshade layer.

5. How to use transparency to show hillshading underneath a layer’s symbology. 

6. How to highlight all the cells in a raster layer that have a given value. 

7. How to user the identify tool to find the values in all layers at a particular location. 

8. How to examine a histogram of a raster layer. 

9. How to open ArcToolbox and how to save a map document. 

10. How to create a new toolbox to hold models related to a project.
