Bulan Juli 2010 ini, Google telah mengupdate image di Google Earth dan Google Maps. Untuk Indonesia, Kota Depok, Solo & Medan mendapatkan citra satelit GeoEye & IKONOS terbaru hasil rekaman tahun 2009. Lihat contoh hasil capture saya pada gambar diatas untuk Kota Depok.
Sebenarnya banyak yang di update, namun tidak semuanya memiliki tanggal rekam tahun 2009. Google telah menyediakan file KML yang bisa di download untuk melihat update image terbaru di Google Earth pada 4 Juli 2010 ini. Anda juga bisa melihatnya melalui Google Maps.
