Google Earth Imagery Update Bulan Maret 2010

Google baru saja melakukan update imagery yang terdapat di Google Earth. Bulan Maret ini Google ternyata lebih banyak melakukan update untuk wilayah Chile yang baru saja terkena musibah gempa dahsyat 8,8 SR. Namun image terbaru yang terdapat di Google tersebut bukan merupakan image pasca gempa, namun rekaman tahun 2009 lalu.

Untuk wilayah Indonesia, update image di Google Earth tersedia untuk Pulau Nias, bagian selatan Kota Manado, dan sebagian kecil pantai timur Aceh. Semua image untuk wilayah Indonesia tersebut disediakan oleh Digital Globe rekaman tahun 2009. Belum tersedia image dari satelit GeoEye-1 untuk bulan Maret ini. Silahkan download Imagery Update KML untuk melihatnya langsung di Google Earth

Sebenarnya saya juga menemukan citra satelit baru di sekitar Kalimantan Timur, tepatnya di wilayah kerja Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) dengan tanggal rekam 24 Mei 2009. Namun saya tidak tahu pasti sejak kapan image tersebut ‘nempel’ di Google Earth.
