Garmin merilis dua GPS handheld sekaligus yaitu Oregon 550 dan Oregon 550t. Kedua GPS ini memiliki fitur layar sentuh dan dilengkapi dengan kamera 3.2 megapixel.
Dengan fitur kamera autofocus dengan 4x digital zoom tersebut, secara otomatis setiap photo yang diambil akan memiliki informasi lokasi atau disebut juga dengan Geotag atau Geocode. Jadi user tidak perlu di repotkan dengan proses geotagging via software di komputer. Fitur lainnya, 850MB of internal storage dan USB connectivity, body yang tahan air serta kemampuan untuk menyimpan waypoint dengan jumlah data yang besar.
