Garis Kontur pada Google Maps

Google baru saja menambahkan topographic contour lines pada Terrain view di Google Maps. Layanan ini tersedia untuk tampilan seluruh dunia. Walaupun belum tahu source-nya tapi kemungkinan besar menggunakan data SRTM resolusi 90-meter.
Informasi ini saya rasa cukup baik, terutama buat pendaki gunung sebelum berangkat mendaki. Berikut adalah gambaran puncak Gunung Slamet di Jawa Tengah (klik pada anchor link atau gambar dibawah untuk menampilkannya dalam Google Maps).
Anda harus Zoom in hingga range 2km pada skala batang Google Maps (lihat kiri bawah) untuk bisa menampilkan garis kontur beserta nilai tingginya.
