GeoVisi kembali menelurkan dua ebook sekaligus. Keduanya berhubungan dengan cara dan pemanfaatan GPS. Di GIS blog ini sebelumnya juga tersedia tutorial GPS yang dibuat oleh Mas Ujang Dede Lesmana dari PGIS-SIGaP tentang Penggunaan GPS Garmin seri eTrex HCx untuk Pemetaan Risika secara Partisipatif. Tersedia pula Panduan Dasar penggunaan GPS eTrex Basic. Sementara tutorial GPS dari GeoVisi menggunakan GPS Garmin 76CSx, seperti terlihat pada gambar diatas.
eBook yang pertama berjudul Bekerja dengan GPS sementara yang kedua berjudul Track dan Mark Lokasi dengan GPS. Kedua ebook tersebut bisa di download di milis Komunitas GIS. Silahkan berkunjung ke Google Groups Komunitas GIS, pilih menu File untuk mendownloadnya. Saya juga menyediakan link download untuk kedua ebook tersebut, karena modul Bekerja dengan GPS yang tersedia di milis berupa file .gif yang terpecah-pecah, maka saya menyatukannya menjadi sebuah file .pdf dengan judul yang sama.
