Clipping Raster di ArcMap bisa dilakukan hanya dengan memanfaatkan sebuah graphic tanpa dibutuhkan layer shapefile. Untuk melakukan clipping raster di ArcMap menggunakan graphic, buat sebuah graphic shape sesuai keinginan Anda, atau disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pekerjaan Anda. Hasil clip raster nantinya bisa berupa BMP, GIF, GRID, IMAGINE, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG, atau TIFF file.
- Setalah membuat graphic sebagai area clip dengan menggunakan tools pada ArcMap Drawing toolbar, pastikan graphic tersebut pada kondisi terseleksi.
- Untuk melakukan clip dan export raster dataset menggunakan graphic tersebut, klik kanan layer raster pada table of contents. Pilih Data > Export Data dari context menu.
- Pada dialog box Export Raster Data, klik pada radio button “Selected Graphics (Clipping)”. Pastikan Anda melakukan setting Spatial Reference yang sesuai dengan Data Frameatau dengan raster dataset.
Browse lokasi tempat penyimpanan hasil export raster dataset-nya, beri nama yang sesuai, simpan sebagai raster format. Jika Anda menginginkan outputnya adalah geodatabase kosongkan extension dibelakang nama file.
