Cartographica, Aplikasi GIS untuk Mac

ClueTrust merilis Cartographica (beta), sebuah aplikasi GIS untuk pengguna Mac pada 19 November lalu. Sebelumnya mereka juga telah membuat aplikasi gratis GPS to Mac yaitu LoadMyTracks. Tidak seperti beberapa aplikasi GIS For Mac yang pernah saya posting sebelumnya, Cartographica memiliki GUI layaknya ArcView 3.x.
Aplikasi ini memiliki menu item “Timecode Photos from iPhoto Library” and “Plot GPS encoded Photos“, sehingga memudahkan dalam geotagging koleksi photo yang dimiliki Mac user. Sayangnya saya bukan pengguna Mac, jadi belum bisa mencicipi aplikasi yang masih dalam taraf ujicoba ini.
UPDATE : Pada 15 April 2010, Cartographica merilis versi 1.1 termasuk rilis Cartographica for Mobile, sebuah aplikasi GIS untuk iPad dan iPhone. Simak di GIS for iPad & iPhone (klik disini).
