Terhitung sejak hari ini, versi terbaru ArcGIS Explorer Build 1200 tersedia untuk di download. Versi ini merupakan update dari versi sebelumnya Build 900 dengan beberapa fitur baru diantaranya kemampuan mengakses Geoprocessing Tools dan Model via ArcGIS Server.
Untuk dapat mengakses geoprocessing tools dan model ini, cukup mengisi URL ArcGIS Server, pilih tools publikasi Anda, click untuk menjalankannya. Analysis Gallery memberi kemudahan user untuk melakukan management and sharing tools yang user tambahkan.
ArcGIS Explorer basemap gallery juga telah di update termasuk diantaranya World Imagery, World Streets, and World Topographic basemaps. Fitur yang tersedia diantaranya Bing Maps Aerials, Hybrid, and Roads, yang tersedia gratis tak terbatas tanpa tambahan licensi.
